We architected and implemented a global financial annual budgeting, forecasting and reporting solution to allow different regions to plan and report at the same level of detail. The global Business Warehouse system afforded the client monthly forecasting and variance reporting in a single application eliminating the spreadsheet nightmare and the time it took to produce reports.

Utility Industry

A large utility company was frustrated with the impact of the long turnaround time for collecting and comparing actual vs. forecasted financial data. They wanted to implement Business Warehouse for one common reporting and planning tool across different business units.

We created a robust integrated planning and reporting application utilizing SAP Business Warehouse, Business Planning, and Business Consolidation tools to enable one platform, one application view of the organization. An international leader in the apparel and footwear industry (annual revenue over $1 billion) needed to speed up month-end closing processes along with the quick planning cycle turnaround.

We implemented a common reporting, planning, and consolidation solution in an integrated tool which afforded the client the benefits of eliminating unnecessary journal entries in the North American SAP system, avoiding the use of spreadsheets to consolidate the financials, and meeting Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
